1993 – Humble beginnings
Rahul Duragkar earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Maharashtra, in 1993.During his time at VNIT, he not only excelled academically but also actively engaged in problem-solving, innovation, and leadership.This solid academic background shaped his professional journey, equipping him to tackle complex challenges, lead with confidence, and make a lasting impact in engineering and construction.
2000 – Expanding Horizons
Mr. Duragkar began his career at Blue Star Limited, one of India’s premier mechanical and industrial engineering firms.Known for its excellence in HVAC systems and engineering solutions, Blue Star gave him the platform to lead and contribute to large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects across the country.This early phase of his career provided hands-on experience in thermal systems, project execution, and site management—skills that laid a strong foundation for his future roles.
2005 – A Leap into Dubai
Seizing new opportunities abroad, Mr. Rahul Duragkar advanced his career by joining Bader Al Mulla Group—one of the Middle East’s leading engineering firms.
In the UAE, he successfully delivered high-value projects involving complex mechanical systems, infrastructure upgrades, and turnkey installations.
He adapted quickly to diverse project environments and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams.
His work earned him a strong reputation for technical precision and leadership under pressure.
Building on this success, he joined Ranya Contracting, where he further honed his skills in project management, MEP coordination, and regional compliance.
2011 – Leading the Change
In 2011, Mr. Rahul Duragkar co-founded Emitech Technical Services LLC, taking on the role of Executive Director and Partner.
Bringing decades of experience and a forward-thinking vision to the company, he quickly guided Emitech to become a trusted name in Design-Build MEP contracts.The firm soon delivered full-scale solutions across commercial, residential, hospitality, and industrial sectors.Thanks to his strong focus on innovation, quality control, and sustainability, Emitech stood out in an increasingly competitive market
